The Fourth Annual Conference of Iran Finance Association

The fourth annual conference of the Iran Financial Association was held with the participation of the University of Isfahan on19 Feb. 2023 at Shahid Beheshti Hall in the University of Isfahan. Dr. Saeed Fathi the scientific chair of the conference said 55 articles were sent to the secretariat of this conference and 45 articles were accepted for publication in the proceedings and one article was accepted for presentation. In this conference, which was held under the chairmanship of Reza Raei, the head of Iran Finance Association, Saeed Fathi, the scientific chair from University of Isfahan, and Ali Namaki, the executive chair from the University of Tehran, Pourebrahimi, the head of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Council, Eshghi, the head of the Securities and Exchange Organization, Godarzi, the CEO. of Tehran Stock Exchange and, Hersij, President of University of Isfahan, Qasimzadeh, Mayor of Isfahan, Toghiani, the lawyer of the people of Isfahan in the Islamic Council, and a group of other experts in the financial field gave a speech. The award for the best CEO of the year in in the financial institutions was given to Dr. Eshghi the president of the Securities and Exchange Organization. The award for the best thesis of the year in the field of finance was given to Dr. Zahra Mohammadian, who graduated from the finance department of University of Isfahan, and the award for the best publishet paper of the year was given to Dr. Mohammad Hashem Betsheken and Mohammad Sadeq Abdullahipour for their article on the financial restructuring of banks in Iran published in The Journal of Asset Management and Financing. The important event of this conference was the recognition of the outstanding professor of finance at University of Isfahan, Dr. Mehdi Abzari.
